Fennell Visitor December 3, 2000

WELCOME!

A warm welcome is extended to everyone today. We pray that each one will be encouraged and that our worship will be pleasing to God. If you are visiting with us, we invite you to return often.

May there be peace within you today.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing that you are a child of God.

Let His presence settle into your bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun.

It is there for each and every one of you.

30 Scriptures Every Christian Must Know

(part three of three)

The Response of Man

Matthew 22:37-40 – Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hand all the Law and the Prophets."

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Acts 2:38-39 – Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

John 3:5 – Jesus answered. "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."

1 Corinthians 11:24-26 – And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said. "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

John 14:15-17 – "If you love Me keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him or knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Galatians 5:19-23 – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissentions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
