WELCOME

Welcome to everyone. We are pleased for the presence of everyone today and pray that God will find our worship to Him pleasing and acceptable. If you are visiting with us, you are especially welcome, and we invite you to return often.

A Look Into Heaven

Let us take a look at the Heavenly Core,

In God's Holy Book, for us He wrote it for.

A manual for living, moral rules He laid down,

And all who would read, on His Word wouldn't frown.

In the Spiritual realm there are three deity,

'My Father, the Son, Holy Spirit make three.

Father and Son was the Creator of all,

The Holy Spirit helps us all not to fall.

The Mother of Jesus was a human vessel for Him,

Not Mother of God, praying to her you won't win.

She was mortal like us, but God set her aside,

To give birth to the Son, she did so with pride.

Stick to the Scriptures, then you will agree,

Christ intercedes in Heaven for you and me.

Now there you have it, The Great three in one,

The Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Blessed Son.

Training for the Christian Life

As a great amount of training is needed for athletic activities, so we must train diligently for the Christian Life. Such training takes time, dedication, energy, continued practice, and vision. We must all commit ourselves to the Christian life, but we must first know

the rules as prescribed in God's Word (2 Timothy 2:5)

Reference I Corinthians 9:24-2 7 Metaphor Race Training - go into strict training to get the prize. Our Goal as Believers

We train ourselves to run the race of life. So we keep our eyes on Christ - the goal - and don't get sidetracked or slowed down. When we do this, we will win a reward in Christ's Kingdom.

Reference Philippians 3:13-14 Metaphor Race Training-focus all your energies toward winning the race Living the Christian life demands all our energies. We can forget the past and strain to reach the goal because we know Christ promises eternity with him at the race's end.

Reference I Tim othy 4: 7-1 0 Me taphor Exercise Spiritual exercise will help you P-row in faith and character.

Just as we exercise to keep physically fit, we must also train ourselves to be spiritually fit. As our faith develops, we become better Christians, living in accordance to God's will. Such a life will attract others to Christ and pay dividends in both this life and the next.

Reference 2 Timothy 4:7,8 Metaphor Fight Race Fighting the good fight and persevering to the end. The Christian life is a fight against evil forces from without and temptation from within. If we stay true to God through it all, he promises an end, a rest, and a

crown. Life Application Study Bible Submitted by Tom Moore
